Learn about CQC compliance requirements for GP practices in England, including registration updates, mythbusters, and tips for staying compliant.

CQC

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) is the independent regulator of health and social care in England. They will inspect your practice and generate a rating.

All GP Practices should be registered with the provider portal on the CQC website and you must keep your registration details up to date including changes to partners and significant events within the Practice.

To stay compliant with the CQC there are 108 mythbusters currently listed on their website you should be working towards. Your policies and procedures should be tailored to meet the requirements of the mythbusters and produce risk assessments for any improvements that need to be made.
